Hi I'm Karen, founder of Just the Tonic Holistic Therapies.

My mission is to create a calm, nurturing space where you can slow down, reconnect with yourself and restore balance through Reiki led holistic Treatments.

I understand how easy it is to put your own needs last, especially when you're always caring for others. Just the Tonic was created as a peaceful sanctuary for women, a space where you can rest, release and feel genuinely supported.

Reiki sits at the heart of my practice, This gentle energy healing helps to calm the nervous system, release stress and bring the mind, body and energy back into harmony.

Alongside Reiki, I also offer Reiki infused massage, reflexology and nurturing holistic treatments, each thoughtfully tailored to how you're feeling on the day.

My location

I am based in Rugby, Warwickshire, situated just 10 minutes from Coventry. I am easily accessible from Daventry, Lutterworth, Northampton, Royal Leamington Spa and the wider Warwickshire area.

Where is Just the Tonic Holistic Therapies based?

Just the Tonic Holistic Therapies is located within Webb Ellis Court a Housing 21 retirement complex, which is open to the public.

Where can I park my car?

There is free parking at the front of the building.

How can I book my appointment?

Appointments can be booked online, just click on the book now button and it will take you through to our Booking website.

Booking & Deposit Policy
  • A 50% deposit is required to secure your appointment.
  • If you need to cancel or reschedule, your deposit can be refunded or transferred to a new date, once only, provided at least 48 hours' notice is given.
  • You may reschedule your appointment once online. Any further changes must be arranged with me directly (07873 121243) and may require a new deposit.
  • If an appointment is cancelled with less than 48 hours' notice or not attended the deposit will be retained.
  • Repeated cancellations or frequent rescheduling may result in future bookings being declined.


This policy helps keep my diary fair, balanced and accessible to all clients. Thank you for your understanding and support.

I have a gift voucher how do I book in and do I have to pay a deposit?

If you have a gift voucher and would like to book an appointment, please follow the book now button on this website and book your appointment as normal via Ovatu.

If your gift voucher was purchased through SalonIQ (my old booking system) or is hand written, please contact me directly either by calling 07873 121243 or by email info@justthetonicholistics.co.uk this ensures that the gift voucher is applied properly, as SalonIQ voucher codes cannot be redeemed through Ovatu at this time.

Thank you for your understanding whilst I transition to a new booking system.

Should you reschedule or cancel your appointment within 48 hours then your deposit will be kept as per my cancellation policy, and a further deposit will be required to book in for the next available appointment. If you have rearranged your appointment before the 48 hours, then your deposit will be carried over.

What should I expect on the day of my appointment?

Please do not arrive any earlier than 5 minutes prior to the start of your appointment time. If you are early, then please kindly wait outside the Wellbeing Suite until your appointment time. There are also chairs at the front by the entrance, should you wish to sit down.


Please arrive alone for your appointment as my treatment room has no waiting area.


The treatment room will be thoroughly cleaned and sanitised between clients and the treatment couch will always be replenished with fresh clean towels and linen.

It is always best to wear comfortable, easy to remove clothes. For reflexology treatments you will only be asked to remove your shoes and socks (if you are wearing any).

For Reiki treatments you will be fully clothed, but your shoes are required to be removed and placed in the basket provided.

How can I pay for my treatment?

A deposit is required before any treatment is carried out, you can choose to save your card details if you wish, and they will be securely kept on your Ovatu profile. You can then pay for the balance of your treatment with the stored card, we also have a card machine or cash if you prefer. If you wish to pay by bank transfer, please let me know beforehand so that I can send you over the bank details. Payment will be required before I start your treatment (this is for first time clients only).

For regular clients, payment is required before you leave the treatment room, thank you.
